new apartment math....roommate?

okay so if i got a roommate with eastbrook, then thats 710 plit between 3 people... 236.67 each.

(during school) lets say i work 25 ours a week; 338 a paycheck. lower that.. 330.

thats 660 a month.

660
- 240
--------
420
-180 -> car insurance dropped!
-------
240
-130 --> car oayment
---------
110
- 50 --> phone...
---------
60

i would need to make sure that i work more than 25 hours a week.

** just called david (my boss) and he said that i will most likely get 29-32 hours a week during school.

so lets say 30.

440 a paycheck.
880 a month.

880
-240
----
640
-180 ---> car ins,
-----
460
-130 ---> car payment
------
330
-50 ----> phone
--------
280
to be devided into gas, groceries, and the like.

granted... it wouldn't be all at once. so...

440
-240
--------
200 to last until the next payday where i do the rest.

with 30 hours a week its doable.

now the deposit will be high....
usually its the first month's rent.
240
plus the pet fee...thats going to be at least 400.

so at leasy 650... lets just estimate it to be 800 on my part.

the apartment isn't furnished.
will have to look at yardsales and discount stores for bedframe.... buy a matress. Hopefully mom will let me take the bookshelf and the dresser with me.
I will need to get something to put my masks on... i don't know if she will let me take te headboard.

Last for a while

thats the last you will hear about fae for a while. Like I said in the previous post, she's going dormant. And that's okay. I means I don't need her at the moment. But she's there should the need arise. Yay.. no more weirdness. Right?

rant post about ex's

fuck jake for showing me the pain of a broken heart. now it takes me longer to actually love someone, almsot out of self preservation - knowing i can never go back to that care-free bliss of a first love.

fuck corie for making me associate sex with anxiety and guilt. looking back it really was this relationship that turned me from sex positive to borderline sex repulsed. i'm still sex - neutral, but barely.

fuck lauren for getting my hopes up and proving to be a totally different person. Ive been lead on before, but this was even worse. fuck you for showing me how nieve and overly trusting i am. you still haunt my thoughts.

thank you jake for showing me what unabashed and actual love was.

thank you corie for teaching me about tarot cards, i truly love the magic of them. And from this relationship my other self emerged.. so thank you for that as well.

thank you lauren, without you i wouldn't have figured out how strong my friendship with "the family" is. From you i learned that there are people out there who are willing to compromise sex in order to be with me. thank you for giving me that hope.

fuck you and thank you.

***
there have been other ex's but none of them scarred me in the same way that these 3 have.

maybe not leaving foodlion

so... with the hours i'm working right ow? i'm making about 500 a paycheck. 2 paychecks a month, i'm making 1000 a month. when school starts i'll probably go from working 38 to 28 hours a week. which means lower paychecks.

but lets math:

530 - for 2 weeks with 38 hours.

530: 72 hours.

thats 7.36 dollars an hour that i get to keep out of my 9.11

school time.

25-28 hours a week.... lets go with 25.

??:50

7.36 x 50 = 368.

i'll have a slightly more open schedule...

i could work mornings, mid shifts, and nights.

theoretically i could work 30 hours a week.

7.36 x 60 = 441.6

so if i work my tale off and work 30 hours a week,

440 a paycheck. thats 880 a month.

*reference data from other posts*

monthly expenses:

rent - 500
phone - 50
car insurance - 200
car payment - 130

880
-500
--------
380
-200
--------
180
-130
------
50
-50
----
0.

damn. thats... scary.
so wouldn't be ablt to move out at working 30 hours a week at foodlion.

30 hours a week at foodlion: 440
20 hours a week at Lidl : 387.36 --- nope.

30 hours at lidl would be different: 581.04
38 hours at foodlion : 530

so i mean, if i move to lidl then i would need to work 30 hours a week in order to actually make more money. but i also need to make sure i'm working 35-38 hours at foodlion every week.

if i stay working as much as i am now...
530 x 2 = 1060

1060
-500
------
560
- 200
------
360
- 130
-------
230
-50
-------
180

180 to spend on groceries, gas, and other expenses.

technically, i could afford to move out right now.

stay with foodlion until i graduate, maintaining 32-38 hours a week.

when i gradtuate apply for a supervisor position at lidl. if i only get associate: apply for the 30 hour one.

 if i get superisor and work 20 hours (990 a month) or work 30 hours (1531 a month) = both mean i could afford my own place.

leaving foodlion

So... I will be leaving foodlion.

my good friend Meghan is a supervisor at Lidl grocery store and said she can help me get a job there.

pay starts at 12$ an hour.

holy crap.

there are 3 part time options.

temporary - you get 0-19 hours a week.
part time 20 - you get guaranteed 20 hours a week.
part time 30 - guaranteed 30 hours a week.

i of coarse would start out PT20 because....classes.

but even so...

lets say that taxes take.2265 out of my paycheck. ( federal income .11 + state income .04 + SS .062 + medicare .0145)

12 x 20 = 240 - a week
240 x 2 = 480 - every paycheck

480 - (480 x .2265) =
480 - 108.72 = 371.28 - per paycheck.

lets round down to 370.

x 2 a month.

$740

-200 -> car insurance
- 45 -> phone
-130 -> car payment
----------

leaves 365. (can go towards paying off the car loan and creditcard.... food.....)

still not enough to move out....

until i move up to 30 hours a week after i graduate.

if i get a job a lidl and work there at starting pay once i graduate?
prolly wouldn't be able to get a full time thing, but i would upgrade to the 30 hrs.

12 x 30 = 360
360 x 2 = 720

720 - (720 x .2265) =
720 - 163.08 = 556.92 round that to 550 per paycheck.

550 x 2 = 1,100 per month

1100
- 200
-45
-130
--------
725
- 500 (rent)
 (http://www.apartmentguide.com/apartments/North-Carolina/Greenville/1-beds-pet-friendly-1z141xt+4lh/?max_price=500)
------
225 - to be devided between utilities, gas, food/cat needs, and anything else. (eastbrook has water and sewer included i think - allows 2 cats)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

now hopefully my car insurance will have gone down by then.  and gone from 200 to maybe 120? or something. that would be even better. if i can pay off most of my car loan then it wouldn't be a problem for too long.
